Esszimmer in Stuttgart

Esszimmer is hands down the best we have found here in Stuttgart and during our travels. My friends and I frequently visit Esszimmer for lunch or dinner and the experience has always been top rate!! The owner is very personable and always accommodating to the needs of our group and the service is great. I highly recommend this place!!!!

very good traditional food! Great ambience and nice staff

The food is very delicious, especially stir-fried kale, crispy pork, and fish. Unfortunately during this time You can't sit and eat at the restaurant because Covid19. But you can still take it home. The shopkeeper is very kind.

To put it in a nutshell, without swinging long speeches: Great. Whether portion size, service, selection of dishes and above all the taste. We were totally thrilled. Had a red curry, the starter plate and a pasta dish ... was just a poem, perfect heat and a unique taste, but had to have it wrapped up was too much in combination with the starter. The restaurant is small but mighty!

I was there for lunch. The ambience is not my thing. The food was good, plentiful and cheap.

Tried it tonight. Food really tasty: papaya salad, green curry very good, another dish also very good. If you like it spicier, you can order more chilli ... 😀 And the portions are really big. Service friendly and quick. It is worth it!

Reviews are incomprehensible. Unfortunately, the food was not tasty at all. The whole fish came and smelled and tasted like an old aquarium. My wife's meal was a vegetarian peanut curry. Unfortunately that didn't taste like peanuts or anything else either. Loveless coconut milk poured onto vegetables. There is much better in Stuttgart. The fish is announced on the menu with vegetables. When I asked where the vegetables were, the boss first frantically searched the menu and then explained to me that the vegetables were the weird carrot decoration. But of course I can order extra vegetables again ... All in all, failed. I don't write any other reviews, but this high rating is very surprising ... and apparently I'm not alone. I hope I can protect a few people from this waste of money.

Super nice service, dining room is small (no problem, we had reserved a table), but nice. You can also sit outside on warm days. The food was fantastic, we had starters, main courses and desserts. Will definitely be back :-)

The food is tasty and plentiful. The service is super nice and attentive. Be sure to try the baked banana with coconut ice cream. The blast.

In all honesty, the positive reviews can only be fake - the service is underground and the food is just plain bad. The shop is at most a snack bar.

Authentic cuisine that tastes the way it should taste. We were served very nicely and professionally. My companions and I were thrilled and would be happy to come back. At the end there was a nice chat with the friendly cook, who still had a treat for our dog. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Casual, authentic Thai food that's always good and not high-priced.

Tasty thai food. Price is around 15 to 20 euros with drinks per person. German owner is not the friendliest but he is professional. His wife is really good at cooking thai food.

We love this place. One of the only Thai restaurants around that will make dishes that are both delicious and properly spicy (if you want it that way). The owner is also lovely and very friendly and always made us feel at home.

The food was very good, but the staff experience was less than mediocre. When we first arrived, we asked for more time to analyze the menu and this prompted an eye-roll from our waiter. Later on, my friend simply asked about the types of beer available, and he wasn't very keen on answering this either. These two things were tolerable, but in the end what I found to be ridiculous is that, when paying for our bills, we gave what our bills asked of us and he threw the coins my friend gave back in her face. We are not from this country as we were on a short trip, so we weren't sure how tipping worked and we did our best with the knowledge we researched; however, we did have the tip ready to give to him after we were done paying our bills. I realize that cultural clashes may have played a role in his actions, but in the end it's unacceptable to throw money in someone's face regardless of how you feel about them. Pad thai was good though. Das Essen war sehr gut, aber die Erfahrung des Personals war weniger als mittelmäßig. Als wir ankamen, baten wir um mehr Zeit, um das Menü zu analysieren. Dies veranlasste unseren Kellner zu einem Blickfang. Später fragte mein Freund einfach nach den verfügbaren Biersorten, und er wollte auch nicht gerne darauf antworten. Diese beiden Dinge waren erträglich, aber am Ende fand ich es lächerlich, dass wir beim Bezahlen unserer Rechnungen das gaben, was unsere Rechnungen von uns verlangten, und er warf die Münzen, die meine Freundin ihrem Gesicht gab, zurück. Wir sind nicht aus diesem Land, da wir uns auf einer kurzen Reise befanden, also waren wir uns nicht sicher, wie das Trinkgeld funktioniert, und wir haben unser bestes Wissen mit dem von uns untersuchten Wissen gegeben. Wir hatten jedoch den Tipp bereit, ihn zu geben, nachdem wir unsere Rechnungen bezahlt hatten. Mir ist klar, dass kulturelle Auseinandersetzungen möglicherweise eine Rolle in seinen Handlungen gespielt haben, aber am Ende ist es inakzeptabel, jemandem Geld in die Augen zu werfen, unabhängig davon, wie Sie sich darüber fühlen. Pad Thai war aber gut.

Nice Thai restaurant, authentic

Gutes thailändisches Essen in Stuttgart. Delicious food like Thailand I love cooking good quality food like noodles, beef tenderloin, tender meat, a lot of shrimp, shrimp paste, fresh shrimp. Have a drink of iced tea. Must call before booking will not wait.

Vegetarian options are sadly not so good.

We stumbled upon this wonderful vegan friendly (we are vegan) restaurant a bit by change, but we count our blessings. Amazing taste in the appetisers, und wonderful curry dishes, for sure the most surprising experience in 2017 for us. Highly recommended, easy going staff, lot of thai people eating here as well, which is always a good sign for authentic food.

Best Thai restaurant in Stuttgart! Eat like in Thailand like my home! Very friendly staff. I've been a regular customer for 3 years! And the food is not expensive either, it goes well with the great Protion food. Always my pleasure!

According to real Thai people his is the closest you can get to original Thai cuisine in Stuttgart. The place is cozy so you should book a table.

Legitamite Thai...and yes there happens to be Schwabian food also (4 items). A menu item that claimed heat actually brought it (not common in Germany). Highly recommend.

Landed in Berlin and was looking for something near our hotel in Mitte. We saw other reviews and decided to try it for ourselves. We walked in without reservations and were seated, in the back, but served nonetheless. We ordered the chicken, ribs, mashed and fried potatoes and beer of course! Another highlight of the meal was the bread that came out before our meal.
